About UQCC

The third international conference on "Updating Quantum Cryptography and Communications" organized by NICT, IPA and AIST will be held on October 18-20, 2010, at the ANA InterContinental Hotel in Tokyo. The scope of the conference is to present latest advancement of quantum cryptography and communications, and to discuss fundamental and practical issues in realizing quantum networking. The participants will be able to witness a live demonstration of an operational quantum key distribution (QKD) network, combining multiple QKD-links in a metropolitan network in Tokyo, through international cooperation.

Furthermore, the conference will be devoted to providing an ideal inter- and multidisciplinary platform that brings together people from basic research, R&D, and industry investigating different aspects of photonics and cryptography, as well as policy makers and officials working on the promotion towards an effective utilization and standardization of quantum cryptography. World renowned experts have also been invited to present a clear and easy-to-understand overview and outline on the latest trends and developments of this rapidly growing and fascinating research field.

We invite you to become part of this exciting information exchange on leading-edge technologies and look forward to your active participation. Don't miss this unique opportunity to present your researches, innovations, and technologies to such a diverse and international audience!
